We start from your script, brief, or mood references rather than a generic list of “photogenic Nepal.” From there, our team draws on a location archive built over years of shoots, then physically visits shortlisted sites to check terrain, access routes, seasonal conditions, and anything that could complicate a shoot day, before anything goes on your shortlist.
Where a project needs real people rather than actors, such as a documentary built around a local story or community, we handle that research too, identifying who might be involved and giving you the context to make an informed creative decision.

Both. Send us a brief or references and we’ll propose options you might not have found on your own, drawing on locations we know well from past shoots.
How long does a typical scouting trip take?
It varies by region and number of sites, but a focused scout of a handful of locations within a day’s travel of Kathmandu can often be turned around within a week or two.
Can you manage the location on the actual shoot day, not just during scouting?
Yes. We regularly stay involved through the shoot, handling site access and any community liaison, so the relationships built during scouting carry through to the day itself.
What if a location we like turns out to need permits you can’t secure?
We flag anything with real access risk during the scouting stage itself, before it’s presented as an option, so you’re not choosing between locations without knowing which ones are actually viable.
